Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept insurance as a form of payment. Upon request, we can provide a billing statement that you can send into your insurance company. Please note that reimbursement from your insurer is not guaranteed. We recommend that you contact your insurer about coverage prior to your first appointment. Please note that Registered Psychological Assistants and Associate Marriage and Family Therapists work under the license of Dr. O’Connor and are not licensed for independent practice. Some insurance companies may not reimburse for non-licensed clinicians.
What are your typical fees?
Dr. O’Connor’s fee is $200/50-minute session. The fee for other members of the treatment team is $150/ 50 minute session.
Do you offer sliding scale services?
A limited number of sliding scale appointments are available and can be discussed prior to scheduling your session.
What are the length and frequency of sessions?
Standard sessions are 50 minutes in length and take place weekly, although frequency may vary depending upon needs of the client. Often a minimum of 12 sessions is needed in order to successfully reach treatment goals. Length of treatment will vary depending upon presenting problems and goals in treatment.
What ages do you treat?
We treat all ages, including children as young as 5, teens, and adults of each life stage. When treating younger children, parents are an integral part of the treatment process and will be asked to participate in sessions.
